It's always been my dream to be a writer—just ask me at age 10, frustrated at my failing children’s book spin-off of 10 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, or my 5th grade teacher who gifted me creative writing books like Rip the Page or What It is. Yes, writing can be a lot of work, but it’s fun, especially when you’re passionate about what you have to say!

Honestly, despite my lifelong dream to be an author, I never knew what I wanted to write about. It wasn’t until I surrendered every part of my life to Christ that I found renewed confidence in God’s love for me and realized that the God of scripture wants nothing but good, abundant life for us, as he explains in the Bible. The Bible reveals who God is to us: our salvation, our joy, and hope beyond our understanding. I believe God's called me to amplify his love for us through writing, so that my generation might know this life-changing truth: a life marked by faithfulness and obedience to God is the BEST life you could ever live. 

Beyond writing, I am the Leader of Worship Culture at my local church here in Louisville, KY, where I enjoy ministry (pastor’s wife check!) and life with my husband Casey and our calico cat, Athena. I desire the best life with Jesus as much as you do, especially after living so much of my life lacking a sense of meaningful purpose, and I am always looking forward to my next dessert. One of my greatest passions in life is genuine connection with others, and I’m so unbelievably grateful to be on this journey with you. My prayer is that as a community, we’ll discover that knowing and worshipping God is the only thing that makes life worth living, and lean ALL into what he has in store for each of us! Let’s live our best life, together.
